Practice SAT/ACT Test

Trying to decide between taking the SAT and the ACT? Oakton Academic Boosters and Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions have come together to give Oakton juniors an opportunity to take a combination SAT/ACT practice test. Virtually 100% of schools are looking at SAT and ACT scores interchangeably, so this test allows students to see how they will perform on both tests, and gives them standardized test practice that does not go on record.

All registration proceeds benefit Oakton Academic Boosters.

Test Date: Saturday, November 14, 2009
Time: 8am-12pm
Place: Aux. Gym
Bring: 2 sharpened #2 pencils and a calculator

Follow Up

Parents and students are invited to pick up test results with individual feedback and attend a seminar presented by Kaplan that discusses how the SAT and ACT are used in college admissions, the difference between the two tests, and important test-taking tips and strategies.
